I remember when he was taking the Clintons on a tour of CNY to show them is home turf.

Crosby, Nash & Young? (Stills was being punished off in the corner)

Cheney is involved in a prgram “Keep America Safe” with Bill Kristol - RED FLAG

Cheney was involved in setting policy in Iraq under Bush II - RED FLAG

Enzi appears to have good solid conservative credentials and supports the Second Amendment Strongly.

Why they hell should any conservative support another damn Bushite??????????????

“... I don’t think she ever lived in Wyoming as a child.

I wouldn’t be surprised. The children of government officials tend to be raised in the DC Metro area. Dick Cheney was in government service for decades. I believe Liz went to McLean H.S. in VA. That’s fine. But by now she’s a Virginian, not a Wyomingian(?), and should run in VA.

Of course, I think McAuliffe should go back to NY and run for governor there instead of in VA.

Let the peeps of WY decide. Note that NY was more than happy to have H! as their Senator, carpetbagger that she is.

It's good for the GOPe to have some pressure put on them, even if this is not the best example.

Maybe she should run in SC.

I wonder where Sarah Palin will come down on this race, or whether she will comment at all.

Seriously. I am so over the Bush/Cheney's of this world. They are leftist scum with an "r" after their names.

No. No no. I loved Cheney as VP, but this nepotism, these political dynasties HAS TOO STOP. We’ve become the late Roman Republic where only a handful of Patrician families could become Consul.
No more Bushes, Doles, Kennedys, Coumos, Clintons, etc etc etc.

The more Rand Paul speaks lately, the more I dislike him. He’s starting to believe his own press clippings.

You’re not comparing conservative, reliably red WY with its barely half million peeps to liberal, deep blue NYS with a population of 19+ million?? New York’s (+) equals the entire population of WY.

NY has been represented by carpetbaggers for a long, long time (think RFK waaaaaaaaaaay before Hillary!)

I watched the video. Interesting asserions, though I didn’t see Mr. Cheney specifically call his WY constituents rubes. You could say he inferred it, maybe. But he didn’t say it.

Anyway, thanks for the vid.

Isn’t WY were her dad lives?

Sure, when he's not living in VA or MD.

From what I can find out, Liz's husband still works in the DC area and her kids still go to school there, so her "moving back" to Wyoming may not be all that impressive.

What if someone lives in 3 states for 4 months each, the kids are grown and away. Which State is their residence?

Whattabout all the CongressCritters who barely spend any time back home?

Liz Cheney is Pro-Gay marriage. She has a sister who is ‘married’ to some other dyke who fakes being a man. She also has been impregnated by sperm donor to have a child with the other woman.

Liz Cheney is probably pro-amnesty as she is a long time in the beltway Republican Apparatchik.

Liz Cheney is a full time resident of the State of Virginia and has lived there for decades. She never lived in Wyoming and only owns a vacation residence other.

Enough is enough. She should NOT be allowed on the ballot in WY and the Secretary of State of WY should let her know that her residency is suspect. If the GOP-E wants one of their chosen on the ballot to run against Enzi at least have the common courtesy to find a willing resident of the state to run against him.

Depends on where you choose to register.

If I remember correctly, the story about the new senator Ed Markey is that when he was in Congress he had an apartment in DC and used his mother's address in Massachusetts to register in his district.

Different states have different laws, though. And the laws may not even matter. See the recent Rahm Emanuel case. He rented out his Chicago place and moved to DC, but used the address to register to vote in Illinois, and eventually to run for mayor of Chicago.

My guess is there won't be any legal problem with Cheney running. It's more something emotional voters will have to sort out themselves.

I wish she would run in Virginia. She’d probably lose anyway, but I know she is more conservative than either of our two democratic senators.

I guess it is a lot safer for her to go to a place where whoever wins the primary is guaranteed election, even though a victory for her really doesn’t help us at all, since Enzi already was on our side for the big procedural battles like Obamacare and Immigration.

"What gives?"

This is a battle between the NeoCons and the Isolationists and the Realists.

Rand Paul recently showed his hand and is trying move public opinion against intervening in Syria and the NeoCons are big supporters of intervening in Syria.

So the NeoCons mounted an attack on Paul in the recent NRO article in which they were talking about Paul's aide who has a questionable history of being in the League of the South and might be a racist.

Liz Cheney is a NeoCon and she is running for the Senate seat in Wyoming and she/the NeoCons want replace Enzi because he is a foreign policy realist.

Because the NeoCons attacked Rand Paul in the National Review article, he is responding by attacking Liz Cheney.

He voted to allow states to collect sales tax from large out-of-state corporations who sold items across state lines into their states.

There is no “internet tax”.

Well, I'm interested in this whole State "residency" issue.

One can also be a US citizen and be a resident of commonwealths, territories and possible a foreign country without being a resident of a State.

I'd like to understand exactly what the rules/laws are.
