I wish people would slow down and not jump on every stupid meme that gets run up the flagpole around here.
The 'ass-cracker' meme is flat out ridiculous. There wasn't a homophobic angle to what happened in the Zimmerman vs Martin incident, and there's no such slang term in the black community.
Rachel Jeantel said exactly what we thought she said from the very start, except for the fact that she didn't use the word, "creepy" when she was on the phone to Trayvon. She used the word, "pussy".
Once the soap is in the sponge, it is almost impossible to get it all out.
Just like once false information becomes part of the story, it takes forever (if then) to eliminate it.
The whole play on words to make things seem "homophobic" was satire, iirc, playing on the idea of that's a liberal to do when two protected groups are engaged in conflict.
I know what she said in the courtroom, but it's because she couldn't repeat the phrase exactly as she said it to Trayvon on the phone that day.
Like I said, the 'ass-cracker' thing is the ridiculous meme of the day. Jeantel called Zim a 'cracker', plain and simple.
dumb ass
big ass
stupid ass
punk ass
creepy ass
Get it?
Exactly. It's a really old form of black slang, i.e.,
stupid ass
dumb ass
slow ass
punk ass
I grew up with that lingo, and recognized it instantly. Hell, it's not even 'black' lingo anymore.
That’s just awesome.

Not according to Rachel Jeantel.

Yes, the suffix “ass” is used as an intensifier, and I’ve heard it used by non-blacks in other contexts.
Broke-ass Stuart
Big-ass biscuits
Spicy-ass noodles
So why didn't she bring this up in her testimony? Jeantel's account of the event is growing like Pinnochio's nose.
