What about the media? Guilty as sin.

You know what? No. If you don’t live there, and you haven’t been invited there as a guest or a licensee and you are there I am suspicious of you.

The other day two young white guys had pulled into my driveway. You better believe I was as suspicious

This was a virtual lynching that the media didn’t get their victim. Hope he sues them out of existence.

Pray for America

Goldberg has it wrong: the neighborhood in question was not predominantly white, it was racially diverse.

“So when Zimmerman saw this black kid in his mostly white, gated community, he did some quick, reflexive calculations — and thought the boy might be up to no good. Yes, he did use color as a ground for suspicion.”

We don’t know that, and I would argue that it isn’t so. Had Trayvon been a white kid in a hoodie, walking around casing the neighborhood, George would have done the same thing. The word black was an after thought to George as he answered the question from the dispatcher.

What made Trayvon Martin a criminal, among other things, is the fact that he assaulted George Zimmerman. It wasn’t self defense, and it wasn’t necessary. He did it because he thought he could get away with it.

Otherwise, I liked the piece.

The most amazing thing about the media is the fact that while everything they say and print is recorded, they never remember how consistently wrong they are.

Not even, sorry, we will try to do better next time.

I doubt they even have internal meetings to discuss why the public has absolutely no confidence in their reporting. If they do, they seem more likely to blame the intelligence of their audience for not “getting it”.

NBC shamelessly has altered media to sway listeners to
imprison, or murder, Zimmerman --- and they continue daily.

If it's a gated community which I believe it is, the gf or dad should have known that there was a watch.

Furthermore, maybe you can't bring in guests to stay without getting prior permission? Most of these gated communities are pretty strict I would hope if I lived in one and especially if there had been the string of incidents that had people in fear.

IOW maybe they sneaked him in. And maybe they didn't. That the assn paid $1 mil damages, settled rapidly through the ins co, implies that he was allowed to be there without notification or had permission.

Or maybe they paid the damages because they were afraid of getting sued or a shakedown by the "other" vigilantes and having to pay more? I don't see where it was the assn's fault in any way.

Maybe somebody knows why they should have paid damages.

Yes, if only George had known there was a new guest in the community and who, it likely wouldn't have happened.

I don’t agree that Trayvon was profiled by Zimmerman.
I also do not agree that Zimmerman was too vigilant,

I half way do not believe this was a tragedy.
Martin was a thief and drug dealer in training, He liked to beat up on people, who knows how many people he would have injured if he wasn’t stopped.

Perhaps I am wrong, he may have graduated Summa Cum Laud, but the odds are better that he would have ended up in jail for assault, theft, or murder.

I give nothing to those crying for Martin. He was a sneak thief and thug. His parents were total failures as parents and now they want to make a buck off his death.

Trayvon image and narrative was developed and marketed by a PR firm.

Lengthy but a lot of info, Recommended Reading:

Aw c’mon, Bernie. These people aren’t going to change. The only thing that will help is if fewer people listen to them

“For many Americans [the verdict] is another piece of evidence of the incontrovertible contempt that this nation often shows and displays for black men.”...Tavis Smiley

So Tavish thinks that any self defense against any ambush
attack by a profiling black punk is contempt. I guess he
wants to legalize the knock out game for blacks only.

“That may be one more thing polite people aren’t supposed to say out loud – and certainly not in public.”

Scared unarmed people maybe. It’s not about being polite,
it’s about being physically attacked by said people. I have
no problem saying it, of course, I have backup.

Et tu, Bernie?

GZ was only profiling if there were 5 teenagers in hoodies
creeping around the apartments and he picked the ONLY one
that was black. Then maybe...

Also, I’ve been wondering, can an individual be accused of
profiling? I guess I always thought of it as a problem for police departments, companies, etc.

First, let’s acknowledge that Trayvon Martin’s death is a tragedy. I’ll go so far as to say it was a tragedy that

I'm tired of hearing people say this. That punk got what was coming to him. He was a violent street thug that would have eventually killed somebody. Possibly even the very night that he died unless his victim fought back.

All this “tragedy that a young boys life was ended” is not a tragedy at all: The thug was well on his way to beating, robbing, raping and killing. . .it was no tragedy that his criminal career was cut short. So many innocent people will now never suffer from the thugs depravity.

And George did not “profile” the thug for how he looked. . .he profiled him because of how he BEHAVED. Big difference.

I take issue with the fact you say zimmerman profiled Martin. There is no evidence of that. He didn't mention Martin's race until he was asked by dispatch and then replied he looks black which would lead any rational person to conclude George wasn't even sure he was black when he called police. And if Zimmerman would have seen a white kid standing in a neighbors yard at night in the rain looking at the houses in a suspicious manner you don't feel he would have pulled over up the street and called the cops because that's crazy.
