Satire this may be. But it is also scary, because many politicians and law makers actually think some of this is the way it should be.

I don't. The people are too morally enfeebled to quit financially supporting this government, much less start a revolution. Which would not be necessary if they simply refused to fund the tyranny.
Of course, that means giving up a lot of salary, debt, vacations, second cars, second homes, second careers, cable tv, expensive hobbies, entertainment, college tuition, etc., for the sake of America as we knew it. Who wants in?
