His name is Dr. James David Manning and hes no stranger to controversy or strong opinions.
Manning made headlines this time with a sermon concerning the outcome of the George Zimmerman trial.
In his message to the ATLAH World Missionary Church in New York City, Manning told his predominantly black congregation to stop looking at the world through their black eyes and instead look at it through the blood of Jesus.
Manning explained it like this the only reason why you think that way is because youre black, Manning continued. You see the world, not through the blood of Jesus, you see the world through your black eyes. You have not changed yet.

Can't argue that, however, I wish they'd look at the world through their AMERICAN eyes.

Someone is about to be fired. No, he has been saying stuff like this for a decade or more. He is truly trying to get the message of Christ across to his congregation -- in Christ there is no greater loyalty to race, gender or nationality, but to the triune God alone.

You think that sermon was outspoken? Check this one out (I am surprised this one didn't get him shot--it is over the top, but still truthful)...

I am patriotic, but I am Christian. Seeing the world through the blood of Jesus isn’t all that bad.

Jesus is, and was, and will be forever. America is a like rain evaporating on a hot sidewalk, compared to His eternal being.

Must make this go viral. It speaks to the truth of the matter especially with these pastors who come out for Treyvon. There is no truth in them because they don’t have Jesus.
Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Father Pfleger, etc... Better repent before it’s too late.

I am amazed.
Thanks for the link.
I have a black friend who says he is glad slavery happened. As he puts it “It got my ass out of Africa. Now I'm in America and I can do something with my life.”

That’s the one thing that Whoopie Goldberg gets right. She said many years ago that she’s glad her ancestors were brought over because she’s been to Africa and has seen where she could be today.
