I can see how Zimm could have been found guilty of Manslaughter 2 but, it still wouldn’t be right.

I thought the prosecution was trying to prove that it was
self defense beyond a reasonable doubt. They convinced me!

The only thing that would have made the trial any weirder is if
the jury had come back with the verdict Guilty of self defense!

Then the judge could have pronounced; "I remand the defendant
into the custody of himself for the remainder of his natural life!"
