Dramatic images of Tsarnaev's last stand
CBS News ^ | July 18, 2013 | by Sean Murphy

A Massachusetts state police photographer angered by Rolling Stone magazine's latest cover of Boston boming suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has released never-before-seen photos of Tsarnaev just before he was taken into custody.

Pictures taken by Sgt. Sean Murphy, and first published by Boston Magazine, show a bruised and bloody Tsarneav emerging from the backyard boat he hid in after a confrontation with authorities that left his older brother and alleged bombing accomplice dead.

I agree...except we don't know what information they got from him..and for that keeping him alive made sense...but dang...these guys end up dastardly heroes in the eyes of our dumb-downed public....Insanity definitely rules today!

Couldn’t help but notice his throat looked pretty good in the pic.

Yes. Strange, isn't it? The story was that he had tried to kill himself but instead had succeeded only in giving himself a tracheotomy, which made it impossible for him to speak. He looks perfectly capable of stepping out of the boat, yet the story was that he was unconscious for days. So who gave him the tracheotomy, which he apparently does not yet have in these pictures?

This story gets less and less believable every day.

Howie Carr would’ve done the exact same thing as Rolling Stone if it meant money in his pocket. John Martorano killed many more than this punk but Howie and his fans are putting money in the guy’s bank account every time they buy a copy of his latest book. Howie would unquestionably do the same thing with this terrorist and his fans would find a way to excuse it.

Never saw those first 3 photos before. Was on here listening to the whole thing unfold on scanners.

That being said, I concur with others who notice he has no wound in his neck.

Thanks MM, interesting pics. Hardly looks like he severely hurt himself.

Rolling Stone has defended its cover art, saying it falls "within the traditions of journalism."

They're correct but only within the current libtard horse hockey that is masquerading as journalism today. The policeman might have to answer for releasing the pics but America needs to see the real terrorist.

Agree about any intel, but do it privately, and then dispose of the POS. He’s becoming a hero to the leftists, and soon a martyr to other subhuman muzzies.

Give the MSM enough time, they’ll “rehabilitate” the punk to the point that he’ll be running for Mayor of Boston.

(I’d add a /sarc here, but considering what’s going on in NY right now, this doesn’t rise to the level of sarcasm. It’s just sick enough to happen.)

I’ve seen the video of the naked guy apprehended by the police, but that man is only about 5’10” tall, whereas the older brother (I forgot his name) is supposed to have been about 2 meters (6’7”), according to his grandmother. But the man in the marathon video is also nowhere near that tall, so either the grandmother’s comment is wrong, or the man they say was Tsarnaev was not really him.
