Police fired around a half-dozen shots, witnesses saidCops can usually take out a Basset Hound or a Poodle with 2 rounds, but Pits are tougher.

I have no sympathy for the dog’s owner or the dog in this case.
Here we have a case of someone trying to retreat and being prevented from doing so. Had the perp given her the keys he would still have his freedom and his dog.

An unrestrained violent pitbull and wife abuse. What could go wrong?

It’s pretty rotten that the guy would do that to his dog.

The article makes it sound like the dog charged out the open door when given the opportunity to get loose. It didn’t sound intentional to me.

Looks like a legit case of self defense to me.

In this case I must support the officer.
I would have done the same thing, and I love dogs more than anything.

He intended to keep the woman’s keys from her, his acting the jack-azz caused it. So yeah, I blame him.

It was actually a Sheltie, but Pit Bull sounds much more threatening.

He intended to keep the womans keys from her, his acting the jack-azz caused it. What is it with certain people and impulse control?

Are you being facetious? If it sounds outrageous, and I've said it, it's probably meant in jest.
