Four of mine have retired this year and the physical therapy office I go to just sent me a letter telling me they no longer take Medicare patients. Including current patients.

I have heard several passing comments by radio talkshow hosts that Medicare is in for 'big' changes next year due to Obamacare. They do not elaborate, so I don't know what those 'big' changes will be -- cost? services?

Usually, the Medicare information for the next calendar year is not available until October of the current year.

I know, locally, some doctors do not take 'new' Medicare patients and some doctors do not take any 'Medicaid' patients [Medicaid is state, whereas Medicare is Federal].
