Its something of a social networking mystery.
Why did Facebook block Kirk Camerons upcoming faith-based movie, Unstoppable?
Cameron announced on his fan page Thursday that Facebook had blocked fans from posting any links to the website promoting his film because the content was labeled abusive and unsafe.
We have been officially shut down by Facebook and unable to get any response from them, Cameron wrote on his personal Facebook fan page. The film was made in partnership with Liberty University, the self-proclaimed largest Christian university in the world.
After Cameron alerted more than 500,000 Facebook fans of his predicament, the social networking site removed the block without any explanation.

Blocking it probably will give it more hype than it previously received. I know I had never heard of it until now.

You are right. Same here.
Made a deep impression on you?
LOL
Unfortunately all the acting in all those films is not very good - but their hearts are in the right place and the scripts are pretty strong. More than makes up for it.
Hard to imagine Kirk or his team would do anything on purpose so it is probably some technical error or someone at facebook did in fact report it as a bad page - which in modern American and Facebook culture it is.
Fireproof annoys. More divorce porn for women. He wins her love back with cash, when she is cheating on him with someone who puts out less cash.
I know that puts me in a minority, but hey.
Another good one that’s just coming out on DVD next week (haven’t seen it myself but it looks good):

There was confirmation that they removed some posts from someone’s page recently and then restored it with an apology, overzealous employee. So, it could be that it is another overzealous employee classifying it as such.
A movie Cameron did about maintaining a healthy marriage done by Sherwood Baptist Church.
They have done 4 films: Flywheel, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and Courageous. All a very string Christian based films.
Maybe but he was cheating with porn and self-absorbed behavior. It shows that both have to work.
Maybe but I dare someone not to tear up when he stops to dance in that grassy area.
Anything that doesn't actively promote tonsil-snaking offends the "gay community."
You completely missed the point of the movie. I thought the same thing before I saw it. It’s not the cash, it’s the time. Everything in his life was more important than his marriage. When he realized how bad he’d messed it up he followed the book’s instructions for courting. It involved buying gifts, but the gifts were pretty minor, it was the effort and consistency that mattered. He stopped putting himself first and started putting his wife’s needs ahead of his own.
And she doesn’t actually have an affair with that guy. He puts the moves on her, but nothing happens because her husband realizes that he’s willing to kick the other guy’s ass if that’s what it takes to keep his marriage together so the other guy got scared off.
Ok, so what did the little pop tart wife have to do except openly with hold sex to achieve her personal goals, sneer at flowers that were not expensive enough, and go find another guy?
The doctor would have got her if he would have paid for the wheelchair thingy, but the fireman edged him out.
But guess cheating and self absorbed only matters if the GUY does it. Besides, what’s worse? His cheating by looking at a naked picture, or her cheating with a real dude?
She went to the highest bidder, and did nothing to make the marriage work except to finally settle on a bid. He shoulda got the boat.
Because Face Book is evil.
Judge a tree by its fruit, and don’t fear loosing the shade.
Your opinion is based on when the movie scripted started and that is one way I guess. One assumes, or at least I, that his porn addiction started before the movie did and caused her frigidity and it went down hill from there with him becoming openly hostile that she was “disrespecting him”. She shunned his gifts as a superficial attempt to “wife her up”.
Her cheating level was the same as his neither performed any open physical contact or so the movie does not confirm it.
Fireproof was about a couple whose marriage was troubled. The husband’s father (or his pastor — I forget which) takes him aside and gives him lessons on how to get his wife to fall in love with him again. He happened to be a Fireman, and he made his marriage Fireproof.
The movie was low budget and all of the parts (except Kirk Cameron) were played by members of a church. It was a good movie, even if it was a little bit amateurish. I’d see it again.
I agree 100%
I had no trouble posting a link to it, and it seems that pretty quickly after he posted about this alleged problem, his fans started telling him they that had been able to post a link as well. Most of them seemed to attribute it to public pressure forcing Facebook to back down.
That...and his lack of acting skills. I'm glad he's found a niche and can spread the word.
Thank you!!!!!! I loved that movie so much!
