I think California tried to boycott Arizona, too. Not even sure what it was about any more but I do remember them busing people over there to march for something.
I think everybody should just boycott California.

I made my last trip to California shortly after the 2008 election and was amazed at the number of Obama stickers on the cars. We left the convention early and decided that was no place for a little old Texas boy and his dogs. Never intend to return.
other locations on my boycott list:
New Yark, New Jersey, Connecticut, did I say New Yark?, Massachusetts, Austin (due to the city council’s boycott of Arizona), Colorado, Illinois, did I mention New Yark? and several others for minor violations.
most of these mean nothing since I have no reason to visit them but Austin and Colorado have been known to get a donation or two on occasion. Thank goodness that Cabela’s is in Buda, just outside of the Austin City Limits...

There was talk by an Arizona Corporation Commissioner about counter-boycotting California by refusing to allow power sales from the country’s largest nuclear power plant (Palo Verde - in AZ) to CA. The CA talk about boycotting AZ kind of died down after that and fizzled out. ...
Florida’s economy is in better shape than California’s. Let Kalifornia eat smog.
