Students fill garbage cans with Michelle mandated foods
Examiner ^ | July 20,2013 | Martha

School administrations continue to hang posters in cafeterias trying to convince students that what is being fed to them is "fun food" which is healthier for them than the foods they enjoy eating. Meanwhile schools are having to purchase more garbage cans to contain the Michelle mandated foods that kids are dumping, some preferring to go hungry rather than eat "required" foods. Students just throw away the food being forced on them by the US Government.

There was a time when the food scrap garbage would be picked up by a resourceful farmer to feed some pigs but I guess that time has passed, too.

You can lead a student to baked black bean curd patties but you can't make ‘em eat it.

Depended on where you were in NC I guess. We were instructed to empty uneaten food into one garbage can and other waste such as paper into another. Hog farms had bought the waste food for slop.

Even Bo wouldn’t eat this crap.

Good point, my two Chocs will beg like I am cutting beef or chicken, but will not eat the veggies that I give them. NONE OF THEM!. It is funny to watch them though. I give them a small chunk of broccoli, they take it then spit it out once they realize that it is not meat.

Next step :Students fill garbage cans with Michelle...

In the essence of reality, the students will cling to Michelle's skirt (or pants, or whatever)...

On one occasion, so it was narrated, Stalin called for a live chicken and proceeded to use it to make an unforgettable point before some of his henchmen. Forcefully clutching the chicken in one hand, with the other he began to systematically pluck out its feathers. As the chicken struggled in vain to escape, he continued with the painful denuding until the bird was completely stripped. “Now you watch,” Stalin said as he placed the chicken on the floor and walked away with some bread crumbs in his hand. Incredibly, the fear-crazed chicken hobbled toward him and clung to the legs of his trousers. Stalin threw a handful of grain to the bird, and it began to follow him around the room, he turned to his dumbfounded colleagues and said quietly, “This is the way to rule the people. Did you see how that chicken followed me for food, even though I had caused it such torture? People are like that chicken. If you inflict inordinate pain on them they will follow you for food the rest of their lives.”

The Mooch wouldn’t eat that crap either.

It’s all part of her show.

She wants to be impotent.

Flawed human behavior is not understood by either elected or bureaucratic morons.
Just like crime statistics; other useful statistics are manipulated universally, often required to be, by federal laws.

The massive program, imposed by whim, by a well meaning retard, did not allow, and even acknowledge, that it would not only be resisted, but ignored by the intended victims.

Keeping track of the resulting waste of the documented more expensive but ignored food would be the best indicator of success or failure, so it was deliberately forbidden. It is an unintended consequence only for those with an IQ under 70, or unrestricted arrogance.

Big freakin' surprise!

No where in this article does it say what the foods are that the students won’t eat. Clearly, no journalistic curiosity exists in this country any more.

These so-called "reporters" may be clueless and low IQ, but they're not stupid!!

Already here. Remember the case a few months back where a state food inspector took away a six year old’s nice home packed lunch and made the child eat Mrs Obama Food. In addition the Inspector told the child that her Mom was a “Bad Mother”.

I hope that functional imbecile is doing something else today; like policing the refuse containers.

Not my two mutts, a mixed Ozzy Shepherd and a Chihuahua. If there are left over veggies in a meat sauce dish, they invariable eat the veggies before realizing it's not all meat.

The two cats?
Haven't fooled them yet!

I suppose it is a good sign that the children are rebeling against any government mandate. Maybe these children will wake and become conservatives in the future.

I remember when I was in elementary school, I would toss my milk into the garbage because I did not like Milk yet they kept placing it in my meal. Also pieces of bread, but fries, hamburger, and maybe some fruit on occasion I would eat.

I blew up at a daycare manager recently. They had “school lunch / free lunch” forms and were pressing all the parents to sign. I refused once. I took it home and tossed it the next. I was then confronted and told that I HAD to sign, or they might disenroll my children for failing to fill out all forms. I stated that my income was too high for the program, so it is irrelevant. They said I had to fill it out, due to new policies. I said that I didn’t want my Social Security Number, phone number and income on a form that wasn’t necessary.
The manager said that this program was to help afford to buy healthy food for the kids. I was p/o’d and said, “That’s what the $294 a week I pay you is for!” Then I found the portion on the form where it says it is optional, even if you are eligible. They dropped the matter, at least with me.
The next travesty was an incentive for parents to fill out the form. Your reward for turning it in? A Blue Bell coupon for a free gallon of ice cream.

A good idea.

I was in Sam’s and they were having a ribeye promotion. The demonstrator was de-lipping the steaks before grilling them. She had a huge garbage can full of fresh ribeye lip (the chewier and fattier ring of meat that surrounds the steak). I asked if that could be donated to the local animal shelter where the dogs would appreciate it. The demonstrator thought that was a great idea, but they were forbidden to do anything with the scraps besides throw it away.
