Let the Dems and the media bellow all they want. Lead them on by saying you really want immigration reform, too. But never back down from the first thing that must happen: a safe, secure border that will prevent illegals from entering.

Don’t fall for that.
The word is out....any immigration bill and that means ANY IMMIGRATION BILL will be made into a Trojan horse once it comes back from the conference committee.
Even if the bill says one and only one thing, and that is to build a hundred foot high fence along the border from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico, replete with monitors, guards, lights, cameras, tunnel detectors and everything a security architect could dream up, even if a bill had only these things it would go to the House-Senate Conference Committee and come back for a vote on the House floor.
Once a bill comes back from the conference committee with the Trojan in it, there will be a vote on the House floor to pass it or defeat it. But it will only take 17 squishy RINOs to vote with all the dems to pass it. And passing it would result in 10 million new democrat voters.
What is holding up the vote now is the Hastert rule. The Hastert rule says a bill is voted on if and only if a majority of republicans approve to proceed with a vote. Boehner is honoring the Hastert rule only because he was put on notice that if he ignores the Hastert rule, he will be replaced as Speaker or there will be such a division in the GOP that the party would never again win another presidential election.
So the answer for our age, for our generation is NO BILL WHATSOEVER!
I personally would support a bill to reform immigration when and only when conservative majorities control both chambers of Congress and a conservative is elected as President.
