Like the long ago Stella of movie fame, President Barack Obama seems to be losing his groove with his own dissident army of low information voters on the race riot march.
Proof of Obama’s gargantuan groove dive: At Friday’s White House press conference: “Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago.” Obama-style one upmanship after saying: “If I had a son he would look like Trayvon”.
This should have been all that Rev. Al Sharpton needed to take millions of protesters to the streets in the beginning of what originally looked like an America lost to massive racial unrest.
Instead, Sharpton, like Obama, fizzled out.
The reason why Race Riots 101 failed before the horses were even let out of the gate?
One of the progressives’ favourite words: “Sustainability”.
You can’t sustain race riot passion with leaders three times removed from afar. Protesters called to 100 American cities over the weekend know that Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Company rake in money as the CEOs of ‘Rent-a-RabbleRousers Inc.’ Worse, the average hoodie-wearing protester has to go home and face the music sooner than later. Their wives and mothers waiting it out at home will want to know what they have done about coming up with baby’s diapers and the rent money.
They’ll likely get a frying pan upside the head if they say “We did it for Al and Barack”. They can already hear the strains of Peggy Lee singing, ‘Get Out of Here and Get Me Some Money Too’.
It’s really hard to maintain momentum for a race riot when you know your protest’s chief provoker will be off on his annual summer holiday to Martha’s Vineyard in a $7.6-million mansion within the next two and a half weeks.

SNAP, Obamaphones and free cable TV. Just too easy and comfortable to sit home on the couch and tweet your displeasure. No need to go out in the hot sun just to provide. Rev. Al with his visuals.
It appears he has a new “high maintenance” girlfriend to keep happy.
I wonder if they are paying their rent-a-mobs a “living wage”?
Well, it’s also a numbers game. The plain and simple fact is that the black community is only 13% of the general population. Of that 13% about 75% are in the working and professional classes and are just as threatened by thugs as the rest of us. Despite the media efforts to portray the “black community” as impoverished and functionally illiterate, it’s a lie.
Still, it’s fun to see the threats of mayhem deflate before our eyes.

_They_ already have all the funds and _agencies_ they need. Some score hundred million dollars of _emergency_ stimulus money still waiting for a proper outlet, as far as I know. More funds coming with 300 million in the illegal entry amnesty bill...
Maybe he’ll do infomercials at 3:00 am teaching people to do what he has done to amass his vast fortune.

Here’s the problem AL, your president has caused everyone so much misery we don’t have time to worry about other people’s misery. I feel terrible for the Martins.

Yes, but even highly accomplished black professionals - I know a number - are buying into this crazy number. I am surprised and disappointed, and very discouraged.
Carrying your number a bit further: 75% of the black population is middle class. 5% is upper class. 15% are working poor./ That leaves 5% of a population of which 1/10 of 1% are activist. Most of those are gang bangers. They are out to loot and pillage, not make political statements. When it all boild down there are maybe 100 people in any large city ready to take on whitey for his flagrant racism. Only trouble is, there is no racism to take on. Systemic racism has been squeezed out of the culture.
