I believe that this has to be part of our public school discussion, that confrontation is not an option. That we need to love one another. And that loving your neighbor is what the almighty wanted us to do. Now, if you're not faith-based, at least you can respect the human rights of someone else. So we can find common ground throughout this entire conversation.

Racial harmony is best created by shared goals and values. You have that and it does not matter who, or what color your neighbor may be. Enough difference around the edges is healthy. It's why we would even bother to have a stimulating conversation with a neighbor. If we can share seven of ten goals and values, the other three are benign unless someone else is baiting the long lines with them.
It is already being taught experientially in every class room and hallway and on every sports field and court of every school. But its best taught in churches, those “love your neighbor as yourself” and “do unto others as you would have done unto you” things. A raving vomit mouthed moron like Herr Schultz is the last person to provide instruction or advice on anything.
Taking Ed Schultz seriously will only hurt your brain. Don’t try to make sense of it. It doesn’t make sense.
