That would be rather fun. Though I’m still hoping for Arthur Pendragon.

Or, as Shakespeare would say, “born of woman.”

Unlike Macduff, who was from his mother’s womb “untimely ripped.”

...that always bugged me...shouldn’t Will have more properly written ‘born vaginally of woman’...

...I mean, in keeping with the tone of the article...

Thank you for reminding me to check what condition my condition is in. Haven’t heard from my condition in a while.

“Cate” with a “C” is affected. Everyone just knows that Kate starts with a K.

Thank you! Now I have to go dish up my birthday dinner ... Cuban pork roast, beans, stuffed peppers ... before we have to take Elen to choir practice. Russian to and fro as always ...

I hope Princess Kate settles down to enjoy her baby. We babysat a 3-month-old boy the other night, and I had a ball!

In our town, everyone with a boy named Alexander calls him Xander and Christophers are Tophers.

Why? What’s wrong with Alex and Chris?

I’ve seen notice boards of boys named “Xander,” here in my lower-middle but *striving!* subdivision. Unnngh.

TMI? LOL. We all know where babies come from. Why is it too much to say the word?

Seriously though I agree, the wording is a bit uncouth, especially when the subject is part of the royal family:)

Got me. When I first heard the name Xander I figured that was a full name not a shortened version of Alexander.

Why are you guys talking about the Duchess’es breasts on a public forum? And what is wrong with naturally thin women?

Women have always hated me because I was thin (tiny waisted) but men would critique me as too flat-chested, or “too athletic.” And of course the overweight women were made fun of. It seems like in this stupid country you must be built a certain way in order for the masses to refrain from taking jabs at you or deeming you somehow a lesser person for it!

Could have just called it “Natural Birth”.

Agree. Or “routine birth”. These media morons are so trashy.

James is a no no. Not after James II & VII managed to get himself kicked off the throne in the Glorious Revolution of 1688.

Once something bad happens to a Monarch, the name is usually never used again.

So no Stephen, Matilda, John, Richard, Henry, James or Edward. Even the name Charles probably won’t be used by the Prince of Wales when he becomes King, due to it’s association with the Civil War and the execution of Charles I.

(He was James VII in Scotland, James II in England and Ireland.)
