Rand’s double speak on Amnesty, where he backed his own plan and tried to get his own amendments into the gang of 8 plan, but later attacked the plan and acted like he was a strong detractor of it, is appalling. he might not like the plan that passed the senate, but he has his own ideas to allow Amnesty. So he is not that strong on anti-amnesty policy. Guy was coming up with a way to get illegals to get some sort of status that was more legal. He gave his own take, like Marco did, where Rand said he had to do something to help better the situation before the left got all over it.

Does his Canadian birth preclude him from becoming POTUS?

Didn't stop Chester A. Arthur.

My first choice is Ted Cruz. Does his Canadian birth preclude him from becoming POTUS?

Not according to US law. However, we may see the Randy Paul people arguing the point.

I like the idea of these two in the Senate, and adding a couple more whacko birds; maybe even a female of the species. I’m hoping for a governor to step forward as a presidential candidate.
