More than a dozen people spread throughout north and south Arlington woke up Monday morning with slashed car tires, and the vandal had a pretty specific target.
Someone punctured the tires of Priuses parked overnight on driveways, apartment parking lots and the street. Police found 15 Prius cars flat. They also got a Smart car.
Police say they found fingerprints consistent with someone leaning on the car while cutting the tires.
I thought the Jeep Liberty was the gay car of choice.
Smells “false flag” to me...
I remember that anti homosexual graffiti. It turns out that the two lesbian girls who lived in that house did it themselves. The media dutifully gave them lots of coverage in sympathy for that alleged hate crime. The media did not spend much time on the fallout when discovered to be a hoax.
Remember in recent years, incidents in which black people reported finding nooses? Some of those were also found to be hoaxes. And those cases too were reported by a sympathetic media, to allegedly show how much racism is still out there.
Why do liberals and/or politically correct grievance groups, stage these events to gain sympathy? Isn’t the fact that these events don’t happen in real life an indication that conservatives are not full of hate?
Or do liberals just tend to be drama queens, who will do anything to attract attention to their causes????
Prius don’t bother me, but the arrogant fools with the “smart” cars that have plates like “We Smart” and other garbage do. Not that I’d even consider damaging them. But I do want to post a note on their windshields that states:
“You could have saved $10,000, gotten 10 more miles per gallon and gotten a real trunk with a diesel Jetta.”
That said, it does sound like a false flag; our side respects private property. My fantasy is even a bit extreme for our side.
The owners think they own the road and Arlington is full of spiteful liberals. It looks like they have pissed off another liberal.

Prius drivers are like bicyclists on four wheels. Completely self absorbed, radiating a greener-than-thou nimbus, while ignoring traffic signals and other drivers. Schadenfreude is a German word, meaning two Priuī colliding at a four-way stop. It is not true that Prius is Latin for "prick", however. It is Latin for "chump".
"Smart Car", on the other hand, is simply a cruel misnomer.

I get your screen name, KingLudd, but most people can’t get it through their thick luddite heads that a hybrid car simply has two engines. The gas engine both powers the car and charges the batteries for the electric engine. Some of the time the car runs on the electric engine and that’s why hybrid cars use less gas.
There are no special tires!

A little research seems to indicate that that is what Goodyear and Toyota would like you believe. Apparently any DOT approved tire the right size will work. Toyota (and Goodyear) want you use low rolling resistance tires, for better gas mileage and improve profits for Goodyear and Toyota dealers. Another compromise you need to make with a Prius - sacrifice performance (traction, comfort) for gas mileage.
Most Prius owners do so to “send a message”,
and that “message” is how they are superior to you.
You’re right, a modern diesel engine is within a few percentage points of efficiency with a FUEL CELL!
Perhaps it was one person who had finally had enough of the condescending sneers he gets from the pretentious pricks driving Prius vehicles.
