Not stupid, evil and traitorous. You are not the only one that knows this.

It might be time to form a new party... What ever did we do the last time we had a king?

So this will not help the Republican party short or long term. Nor will it ultimately help big business. So why is there such a push for this now, or better, RIGHT NOW!?I believe in the long run, citizenship for illegals would hurt the illegals themselves and the countries they come from. After they made America a one party system with a leftist supermajority, and those leftists go beyond obamacare and borrow even more money, destroying the economic engine, they would have killed their own golden goose. Where will they go to get jobs then?

Theyre intent on pushing illegal labor by rewriting the laws to make it legal.
Just like the '1984', lies become truth.

Who wants Amnesty!? BIG business wants cheap labor, and amnesty would be one major source of cheap labor.
Illegal labor is cheap now. As soon as it becomes legal - with all the additional costs of social security, taxes, health care, worker's comp - and prevailing wages - it becomes not cheap any more.

When the basic compensatory demand is less even with the additional requirements as you listed labor costs will still be less. The domestic labor market has a higher expectancy of compensation for their time/labor.
