Maybe you could repost this article to a new thread with a disclaimer ?
Here is the one involving socks—

Socks first come up on post 64—post 128 is where the theory that Jim R is actually George Soros is floated, and it went on to nearly 700 posts.
I doubt the present thread would have topped 25 posts without the apostrophe.
At least he didn’t omit the subject “I” in his first sentence.
You know you need to forget that after all these years, can’t a man ever post something when he’s drunk without having it rehashed for eternity? Here, listen to Johnny https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJNZwuamwj0.
Due to a misused apostrophe you are a complete idiot OR
Due to a misused apostrophe I couldn't read any further
RE: Oh, I absolutely have, and the off topic conversation about my goof ends abruptly when I thank my fellow Freeper for pointing it out to me.
Who knows? The good professor or the Forbes Magazine editors might have thanked you too if you posted what you discovered ON THEIR WEBSITE, not here.
I wanted this thread to be a discussion about Detroit. It has now turned into the “apostophe catastrophe”, which is to say -— MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING.
RE: Maybe you could repost this article to a new thread with a disclaimer ?
Thanks, I’ll do just that. I hope the mods will be gracious.
Really......do you want some whine with that cheese?
Good grief. I didn't start this. I merely responded to you.
Not when it's as entertaining as that :)
I have a serious question.
What brand of garden trimmer (weed eater) do all of you use? I need a new one, and would appreciate recommendations.
Calling me names and using vile language - doesn’t cover up for your not being able to spell.
Halp Mi Jon Carry, I Kant Spel! Find another rope, rinse and repeat, azzhat who can’t take a effin joke. God save me from the humorless pricks of the world.
The weed eater does not tie into the article the way the apostrophe does, but I can see a connection with Detroit.
I have spent most of the last two decades in Ontario, and the last thirteen years about one climate zone colder than most of the people in Ontario. Having lived a summer in Nashville and a year in Southern Kentucky, I would say that you would need a weed eater entirely out of my league. Good luck on getting better advice. (Any tips on good winter boots? :)
We don't get that much snow where I live... most years.
Maybe some others can come to our rescue.
