OK--so mandating health insurance (ObamaCare) is bad, but mandating car insurance is good. Got it.

Car insurance is mandated by the states. Obamacare is a tax, which is the only way the feds can get away with it.

Only the liability part. The collision part is mandated by lenders as a condition of the loan.

If you own your car, free and clear, all the state requires is liability coverage, that covers the car you may hit but not your own
