A local TV Sta reported it think it was Ch 8 out of New Haven.They ran it one time and stated to those wanting it re-run that they already covered it,but still cover Zimmerman 24/7.

Basically everyone in the neighborhood looked black, including the witnesses and the victim's employees. Now, maybe the attackers were the only white people in the neighborhood, but I doubt it.

Late Friday evening, police said Officers David Rivera and Jose Miranda spotted Macquarrie’s “candy-apple red” scoot on Dixwell Avenue near the Hamden Plaza.

The two young men riding the scooter fled to a yard near 31 Orchard Place, where they abandoned the scooter and escaped.

Police said the scooter was recovered but that the alleged assailants are still at large.

The release said those responsible would face charges of assault in the first degree, robbery in the first degree, larceny in the second degreaa and conspiracy charges.

Police added their report is based on preliminary information and that the investigation is ongoing.
