Cynicism is a poor substitute for trust; fortunately for America, the loudly self-proclaimed "progressives" are looters and rapists and armed robbers and extortionists and murderers, not builders or invenstors or creators or managers, so I believe it's far more likely they'll destroy themselves with the American economy than succeed in reducing us all to state serfdom. They've helped themselves to the low-hanging fruit with "free" telephones, so-called "welfare," "housing assitance," "legal aid," et cetera, but most of us remain capitalist, independent, exceptionalist, patriotic Americans.
