Radio host Mo Ivory lashed out at juror B29 on Friday after she came out publically on ABC’s Good Morning America and lamented the not guilty verdict she helped find in the trail of George Zimmerman. Though B29 confessed that she and her fellow jurors had little legal recourse but to find him not guilty, Ivory said that she believed in her heart that Zimmerman was guilty of a crime. Ivory called B29’s heartache “empty” and asserted that she believed B29 caved to pressure from her fellow jurors. She was unrepentant after being scolded by her fellow CNN guests for making “inappropriate” claims.
“She clearly feels like she owes an apology to [Trayvon] Martin’s family,” CNN anchor Pam Brown said of juror B29. “Does she?”
“Absolutely,” Ivory replied. “I’m still emotional about the verdict and I don’t apologize for that emotional connection at all.”
“The legal side of me understands her conflict,” she continued. In spite of the fact that B29 told ABC’s Robin Roberts that her voice was “the loudest” in the deliberation room and that she “was heard,” Ivory asserted that B29 was “bullied” into reaching a not guilty verdict by juror B-37. B-37 gave a post-verdict interview to CNN’s Anderson Cooper which some felt showed that the juror was overly sympathetic to Zimmerman.
“I do feel like she caved,” Ivory said noting that if she had stuck with her initial belief that Zimmerman was guilty, he could have been retried. “Part of me is very upset with her, and I think that the apologies after were empty apologies.”(continued)

That's exactly what I was thinking. Now she knows about 1.2% of how I felt at that true miscarriage of justice. And yet I didn't go out and burn anything and I didn't go play "knock-out" games on innocent citizens.

Well, apparently ABC edited her response in a way that may be suspicious.
All I know is I cannot trust anything in America anymore.

Ivory is an attorney, and she's basically saying that she understands why Juror B-29 said that they could not convict due to lack of evidence -- but Ivory is irate that Juror B-29 didn't hold out for a hung jury anyway. Obviously, Ivory is thinking racially and not legally. As we know, for the overwhelming majority of black people -- race trumps all.
I mentioned in another thread that I know many black attorneys, and they all feel the same way as Ivory. While most are rabid that Zimmerman is guilty and racist, some acknowledge that there wasn't enough evidence to convict -- but they would have convicted Zimmerman anyway! So much for professional integrity. So much for fairness. So much for not being racist.
This juror was incredibly stupid to comment about the verdict.
This gives the race hustlers and professional grievance seekers a cause celeb now.
I dont remember after the OJ verdict white people rioting..or demands from the police that white people stay “civil” towards one another and not riot. I did protest the verdict along with countless others, that night in Brentwood, it was a peaceful protest, no throwing bottles at the cops or setting trashcans on fire, just lighting candles for Ron and Nicole..meanwhile what did the media tell everyone to do “Get over it” that the verdict stands and to “move on” well that is what I am telling these Zimmerman haters to do, MOVE ON, he was acquitted by a jury of his peers, a jury that BOTH the prosecution and defense chose and were fine with, no objections..but of course when it comes to a certain group of people, when they dont get their way, they loot, riot, and whine all day about not getting their way
I imagine that they would be, and I was too, but if her response was edited in a way to make it appear that she said something that she did not, then ABC is endangering her life, Zimmerman’s life and God knows who else, and they should be held accountable.
If I were her though, I would have said not a damn thing to anyone.

The stories make it sound horrible and like slander.
By the time this is all over, Mr. Zimmerman or his widow will be quite comfortably well-off.
