Of course, nothing says SCOTUS has to take any case.

Yep and the concealed carry permit is becoming a defacto license.

As Evan Nappen will no doubt explain at a later date, this lawsuit has very little chance of even a partial success. Between New Jersey’s State Constitution not have a 2nd Amendment and the Heller decision, there is no reason this state can not choose the default position as allow or deny for CCW permitting.

The 3rd circuit is full of old Reagan and Bush appointees, may be a better chance at a favorable ruling there then in the NJ Court.

True, but if the NJ Supreme’s rule against American citizens in NJ I’m of this opinion this will likely end up at SCOTUS, one way or another.
