middle aged “man” who is still working at a fast food restaurant as anything but a manager or owner isn’t a man.

I disagree. I would do it, if there were no other options open to me, and I needed to provide for my family. There's no shame whatsoever in earning an honest wage for doing an honest day's work.

Right now, an honest wage for that type work is $8.25.(Though, I've heard that in North Dakota, fast food workers are making a whole lot more than 8.25 because of a lack of workers....)

If these people would like to make more than $8.25....then they need to look to better themselves, or for other employment. Saying "Double My Salary.....well....just because", isn't the way it works.

McD's, et al, will handle this tempest in a teapot just fine.

I think he was referring to someone who has worked in Fast Food for 30 years, not somebody who suddenly found themselves unemployed in another industry.....They once were able to provide for their families,

Thats what my parents taught me long ago. Guess times have changed.
