Not to be confused with the American Bar Association. Founded in 1925, the National Bar Association (NBA) is the nation's oldest and largest association of African American lawyers and judges. Their website is a Trayvon-fest. Take a look: http://www.nationalbar.org/

Does the phrase “good riddance to bad rubbish” mean anything to her?

The mother of Trayvon Martin said Monday that she believed Floridas Stand Your Ground law played a role in her sons shooting death, but she wasnt ready to support a boycott of the state for not changing the self-defense law.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2 Things. 3 things really.
1. SYG was not an issue in this trial. It was not argued by either side. It had no meaning or impact on the trial or the outcome.
2. Blacks are the majority of Florida citizens who benefit from SYG laws.
3. Sabrina Fulton is an idiot.
Odd that neither side brought it up during the trial. So SYG has nothing to do with it. Thank the “just-us” bros for starting that line of crap.
FU
First, SYG played no role in this trial.
Secondly, the alternative would be to just let your gangsta son smash in someone’s skull. No thanks.
Someone should contact all of the people that the law has saved. I’d be the first to volunteer if I defended myself from a thug.
Rick Scotts office in the state Capitol, has called on Florida lawmakers to repeal ... the law.... So, if you intend to CC, besides your weapon, you need to always have a shovel as well, so that if you are pinned to the grassy area, you can dig a hole to retreat from your attacker. The only thing unclear here is, if the shovel needs to be concealed as well, or if it is okay to open-carry the retreating-tool shovel...
I’d prefer to think of Stand Your Ground as preventing her feral-thug-of-a-son from getting away with murder.
Aside from the fact that neither side even mentioned SYG during the Zimmerman trial, the thing that played the most central role in Trayvon Martin's death was his ill-considered decision to assault Zimmerman in a felonious manner, with the apparent intent to cause grievous bodily injury or death.
I wonder why she failed to mention this. (/sarc)
I do not believe that most blacks care very much that Trayvon Martin died. After all, they seem to ignore more black on black violent deaths every day. I think what blacks care about is that some white guy had the temerity and the means to defend himself from a beat down.
That is really what this is about, cow white people so that the black hoodlums can rob, steal and kill more of them with impunity. The Obama administration panders to this approach, because it buys black votes, just like Obama phones.
Liberal logic - a man shooting his lawfully acquired and concealed weapon against an individual engaged in a brutal and racist assault against this “creepy ass cracker” and being acquitted on the basis of self-defense is the fault of a statute that wasn’t even in play in the trial.
Re. she wasnt ready to support a boycott of the state for not changing the self-defense law.
Translation: she is walking back the boycott talk because they now know it would be a dismal failure, embarrassingly so.
Does anyone believe that if they thought they had the support they would not do this?
I think a lot of them know it. This is a tactic of the left, especially the black left. If whites support it, or are perceived to support it (whatever it may be), they are reflexively against it. Their prevailing idea seems to be if whites support it, they’d rather cock a snook at us even when it hurts themselves. So many things they support hurt them more than us, and they still support them because we don’t.
