Madrid, July 21 (kaosenlared.net) - were "privatized" the Sun in Spain: if you get caught collecting photons of sunlight for your own use you can drop a fine not exceeding 30 million. So if you were thinking that this false crisis caused, the best option was just to have some solar panels that were down 80% at cost and have the opportunity to disconnect from the mains and your bill scam, you can forget.
The excess energy can not be stored in batteries because it is forbidden. When there is no sun or wind, you have to engage the network and pay the normal invoice.

TOPICS: Business/Economy; Government
KEYWORDS: naturetax; solar; spain; taxes
Fearful of giving the EPA ideas, but important to be prepared for this eventuality as the EPA follows news around the globe.
Of note, from the second excerpt, is govt forcing folks to buy off the grid by criminalizing use of storage batteries.

Ancient China had a “night soil” tax. Can you guess what that is? How long before modern-day bureaucrats re-visit that one?

I think “Nationalizes’ would be a better word than privatizes... Gotta make allowances for google translate.
They thought we were silly when we predicted things like this would happen as tax and licensing revenues fell due to the Environmentalists shutting down coal, gas etc. and pushing people and industries into ‘renewables’
Soon this will be the law in the USA too.... And they will probably tax wind generators for using ‘their’ wind.

Yes. Back then they had outhouses and the effluvia was weighed and taxed by a functionary.
