Bradley Manning’s career as a liberal talking head will be on hold for the next 10-20 years.

I expect he will get 20 years.

A federal sentence of 20 years for espionage means he will actually serve 20 years, probably busting rocks in Fort Leavenworth or Fort Carson.

Until 0bama pardons him, that is. I believe that Wikileaks, Snowden, and other leaks of classified information are the work of team 0bama themselves. Collapsing America requires the giveaway of the information that makes us a superpower. 0bama denies awareness of IRS crimes. We know better. He'd probably deny any involvement in the Snowden or Wikileaks compromise. I know better.

You’ve got company in the role of Official Political Prisoner of the US Government Being Persecuted and the Subject of International Amnesty Protests.

This is my thinking too: that Manning will get 20 years in maximum security, which means according to the federal sentencing guidelines I just checked, that he can earn up to 52 days a year for keeping his nose clean, although in his case it would be keeping his rear end clean and healthy.

I haven’t done the math, but if Manning gets 20 years, he could be released in approximately 16 years.

On the other hand, the courts martial could throw the book at him and give him a life sentence...This would mean that Jonathan Pollard, the Israeli spy on a life sentence, gets a new wife at FCI Butner.
