It’s already been done for several decades with linguistic activism originating in universities. Even most Freepers use the words and composition chosen by them to embed social pathologies in our culture. They changed the language, then the laws and policies. We’re too far gone. We’re morally bankrupt and are only a small part of the way through the consequence of the default process.

Our nation, culture and society are in their death throes. It is over. Many people are just now waking up and demand that we fight back. They waited too long to waken. The fight is over and we lost it. There is nothing left of things but to wait for the end, for complete socialist oppression.
It is very painful when you finally realize this is true.

Just like Newspeak (from 1984). The next step for Newspeak in the book was to eliminate a lot of the words - thereby reducing people's ability to think. I think our public schools are accomplishing this without decimating the language, though.
