In today’s Mark Levin radio program, he was about to concede. He was talking about the ole Reagan/Blue dog Democrats, who seem to also be ‘homeless’ regarding their party.

Basically, he concluded that, if the ole Reagan Democrats and the Republican conservatives joined forces, they could run the elections because they would significantly outnumber either of the remains of the two current major political parties.

I was just saying this exact thing to my DH a few days ago. I agree with Mark. There's fed up folks on BOTH sides...folks that still want our country back.

I'm a conservative/Libertarian, - socially conservative, but not in a 'prohibitive' way. (ie; someone today wanted Military exchanges to stop selling Playboy, I can't go along with that, but I don't buy them). I work around a lot of fiscally conservative but morally moderate people. I see people in two camps that won't vote for Republicans:

1) Those who are afraid of the 'Taliban'

2) Bush/Romney Republicans that don't make economic sense to them

I really think a Rand Paul (Libertarian on social issues and not 'Country Club' economically) will resonate with this group of people.

Not sure Mark would agree with me ...
