Federal employees were paid more than $155 million of taxpayer dollars in 2011 for spending more than 3.4 million hours of “official time” on labor union activities that fell outside their assigned government duties, according to a survey by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

“Voluntary membership in Federal sector unions results in considerable reliance by unions on the volunteer work of bargaining unit employees, rather than paid union business agents, to represent the union in representational matters such as collective bargaining and grievances,” the OPM stated.

But these “volunteers” were doing their union work on government time. …

It’s sad. The Marxists are using the money that they steal from us to destroy us. What has happened to America?

“The left in this country has always considered it “tragic” when people make money in this country, and the plight of the earth is just one of many justifications they have used over the years to demonize free markets. Back in the 70s, President Barack Obama’s Director for Science and Technology Policy John Holdren even came up with a formula to measure capitalism’s evil impact on the environment: I=PAT, which means that environmental impact is equal to population multiplied by affluence multiplied by technology. Thus according to the left, protecting the planet requires fewer people, less wealth and simpler technology. But this is just flat wrong. In fact, studies clearly show that important indicators of environmental quality actually improve as incomes and levels of consumption go up.”

The civilization which took our forefathers what seemed like eons to build is corrupted within a few short decades while the rest of us stand idly by. When our fathers and grandfathers were called up during WWI and II to avoid a perceived attack on our ‘liberty’ they jumped up and fought. When Korea, Vietnam reared its head we jumped up and fought to retain our ‘liberty’.

This problem today is much more serious. This is, indeed, a legitimate and concerted attack on our nation and our liberties. The enemy is among us. The enemies are the phony president and his lieutenants, the Supreme Court and the U. S. Congress.

Unlike their private sector counterparts who represent workers in the nation’s mines, mills and factories, the unions that represent federal government white collar employees serve little legitimate purpose.

They are more often than not led and supported by misfits and malcontents to whom the legislature, in exchange for votes and financial contributions, has granted a power to hold the public interest hostage in order to coerce the Executive. Unfortunately, the federal employee unions’ power is not counterbalanced by the weight of accountability to the citizenry. These federal employee unions preserve their position by leveraging the human predilection for convenience over duty, for license over discipline and for self indulgence over service.

These are the enemies of America.
