She moved to Houston when her husband took a job at the University of Houston.

With respect to the proposal she be named to head Homeland Security she is in favor of higher border security and she opposes guest worker programs. She also favors legalization of the illegals here.

One has to wonder at the mindset of her congressional staffers. Are they really so desperate to be able to say
“I work for a congressman” that they’re willing to put up with this crap? I can’t think of a single job I’ve held in the private sector that would be worth this kind of treatment.
