The Insiders: Does the White House think no one will notice the Obamacare hypocrisy?
WaPo ^ | 7/31/2013 | Ed Rogers

Last night on Fox News’ “Special Report,” Charles Krauthammer eloquently exposed President Obama’s ability — or preference — to remain oblivious to the economic conditions he has created. Maybe the president is in denial, or maybe the bubble that he has constructed shields him from any unpleasant conclusions. Whatever the case, Krauthammer points out that as a direct result of Obama’s economic policies, “the median income of the middle class of Americans has declined by 5% in his one term,” and we are experiencing “growing income inequality, chronic unemployment . . . [and] the worst recovery since World War II.”

It is stunning that President Obama himself said “this growing inequality is not just morally wrong” but “bad economics,” as if he had nothing to do with it. In his recent “economic pivot,” which started with his speech at Knox College in Illinois on July 24, no one has mentioned that since Obama took office in 2009, he has created an economy of renters and part-time jobs while the number of billionaires in the United States has increased by more than 23 percent. The hypocrisy is remarkable. How can the president get away with railing against an economy of his own making?

Obama’s ability to remain so oblivious to reality is also convenient when one looks at how Obamacare’s implementation is unfolding. In an underreported, jaw-dropping exposure, Joel Gehrke of the Washington Examiner details how the National Treasury Employees Union — that’s right, the union that represents the IRS — is “urging members to write their congressional representatives in opposition to receiving coverage” through Obamacare. In other words, Obama’s tool of choice for enforcing Obamacare and imposing it on the rest of us, the IRS, wants no part of Obamacare for themselves.

Considering this is WaPo, comments at source are interestingly anti-Obama.

No one seems to notice Benghazi, Syria, the destruction of Seal Team 6, the rise of the Marxist police state, the bankrupting of the treasury, the White House bypassing congress with reams of executive orders, the gradual takeover of the entire American culture by homosexuals and their apologists, the endless incursions upon basic civil liberties by a long line of government alphabet organizations...

...why should they notice this?

The American people are too busy with their bread and circuses to care, while the press are too busy cheering on the revolution to stand up for America’s legacy of freedom.

“the median income of the middle class of Americans has declined by 5% in his one term,” and we are experiencing “growing income inequality, chronic unemployment . .

But think how bad it COULD have been.

“In an underreported, jaw-dropping exposure...”

We have a stupid, uninterested public, that is a given that can’t be changed quickly. But that statement is a summary of the media during the reign of terror, (Obama).

The media is powerful, and is the enemy. Anything that can be legally done to harm the media is fine with me. I cannot adequately express my hatred for those traitors.

That said, the media has effectively convinced the stupid public that anything bad is the fault of Republicans past and present. Either Bush, which has lost it’s clout, or Republican obstructionism, which has lots of juice. Republicans assist this scapegoating by not standing for anything.

Ever since Obama burst onto the national stage, he never pretended to be concerned with anybody else but ‘his own base’. (Think back on what he said. It is plain and clear.)

How others (yes, useful idiots) chose/choose to interpret his words lies squarely on those useful idiots. Obama’s job is to convince his base and hook them onto his plantation.

To this day, Obama had been successful beyond his (and unfortunately ours too) wildest dreams.

The Limbaugh Theorem.

Oh, bullcrap. Rush is getting to be like Hannity, with the constant pat on his own back for observing the obvious. There is no "theorem", but instead the reality of a relentlessly sycophantic press refusing to report all of this POS' failures.

Combined with the press' Herculian effort to make Sparky look like a success, is 40 years of poisonous political correctness indoctrination, which has infected the citizens to the point where they are afraid to criticize or even assign blame to the little communist dictator wannabe. Someone might want to ask some of these people a simple question: How can Bush as President be blamed for everything that has happened for the last 4 1/2 years, and the Obamanation blameless?

Does the White House think no one will notice the Obamacare hypocrisy?

The White Hut knows that the MEDIA will notice, and will completely ignore/bury it, and that the sheeple will therefore never really care too much about it.

Tyrannical government is much easier when you don't have freedom of the press, or rather, when the press is entirely in your pocket, serving as your propaganda ministry.

P.S. F U NSA stooges
