Giving criminals a pass on background checks for public jobs isn’t going to solve the fundamental problem of personal immorality, which is why these job applicants get in trouble in the first place.

When 73 percent of black people are born out of wedlock the chances of being raised to be a moral person are greatly reduced.

If the 73 percent figure isn’t shocking enough, remember that these are mostly single-parent households with no father figure present, which is even worse than a divorced mother and father sharing custody. These kids have no father figure in their lives whatsoever; the father’s identity is often not even known.

After a couple of generations of fatherless upbringing immorality becomes the cultural norm, which seems to be where we are now with inner city youth.

The blame for this belongs to social engineering Democrats, who have managed to convince several successive generations of black people that they can’t succeed without government welfare programs, because of a legacy of slavery and the continued suppression of Whitey.

The result is any black kid born into inner city poverty has greatly diminished chances of succeeding in life. The culture surrounding them, characterized by poverty, lack of supervision, and crime, combined with union-dominated, underachieving public education systems doom them to likely failure.

Why would anyone (besides criminals) want to live in a town where criminals were public employees?
