So, wonder why someone has not bought that $1 “home” in Detroit for its copper value? Even if no copper pipes... there must be at least $25 in the copper wire within the walls...

If you buy the property, you’re liable for all the taxes and fines. Thieves don’t have to buy it to strip it.
