Clinton is supposedly on Caldwell Esselstyn’s Prevent and reverse heart disease plan. While it’s a solely plant based diet Esselstyn also asks that no refined oil is added to food. That makes it a bit harder to follow. If weight is an issue, than simple starches are also cut out, like any products made from flour etc.

Plant based diets are medicinal, and not for everyone, and I don’t think healthy people need to worry. But if you do have health issues, this method of eating may help save your life and cut down or eliminate the amount of drugs you have to take.

I have gone plant based, and found the first thing that improved was my vision. In fact, I had just gotten my first prescription progressive lenses, which I found I needed to read the tv listings on screen, and very small letters on labels. Four weeks into the diet shift... I forgot to get my glasses while watching tv... and only remembered the next day when I sat down again and found I had no problems reading the screen.
