A gangsta vegan blog that got a shout-out from Gwyneth Paltrow and throws in F-bombs willy nilly is being turned into a cookbook.
Since launching last August the anonymously written blog Thug Kitchen gained a cult-like following for its tough-talking, gratuitous use of expletives and tasty vegan recipes like sweet potatoes and pinto bean tacos, and basmati-stuffed peppers....

I love Thug Kitchen! It’s a hoot, and I’m pretty sure the “thug” is heavily laden sarcasm. If you need a good laugh and aren’t easily offended by foul language, check it out.
My wife recently became a vegan. It REALLY SUCKS!
My prehistoric ancestors didn’t claw and bite their way up the food chain so that I could live on veggie burritos.
I share your pain, going on 2 1/2 years now for her. At first I had sympathy for her and tried real hard to understand but over time she continues to harp on me changing (even though I don’t bother her) so I just don’t care anymore. I just flat will not ever be one. I get looks when I equate it with queers, if I tolerate it then I condone it.
As far a going out, over time I basically just eat where I want and if she can she does if not she gets fires or salad. I refuse to go (I know not very husbandy if me) to a place that does not serve meat. When we do go to an all out loser place I just order a coke and sit there. Boy does that make her mad. “You won’t even try it?” She gets really riled.
She likes to say how it is cheaper for her to eat, but we always seem to spend more when we go to a restaurant that caters to her kind.
