I am now a monthly donor but to be honest I have been concern with the new witch hunt that has been going on in this administration. I have been reluctant to say too much or to take too much of an aggressive stand on issues in a public forum.

I believe that there is a good chance that a revolution will be forthcoming. I do not want the protection of government security forces to come knocking on my door with the heels of their boots.

Perhaps it would be good to Freerepublic to make a statement of their security efforts to keep our identities confidential.

Well, for one thing, we run our own servers and John keeps a tight lid on security. No one but he has access (other than a few functions he allows me access to for maintenance purposes). Unlike facebook, Apple, Google, Verizon, et al, we do not share our user info with anyone!!
