Sen. Lindsey Graham may be getting another primary challenger this weekend.
According to South Carolina and conservative news reports, Nancy Mace, a small business owner and the first woman to graduate from the states military college, is expected to announce her bid on Saturday.
POLITICOs phone call seeking confirmation was not immediately returned.
I am looking forward to a special announcement this Saturday in my home town of Goose Creek, S.C.. reads a post at NancyMace.net. Please join us at 9:00am at the Berkeley County GOP Breakfast at the American Legion Post, 116 Howe Hall Road.
Graham (R-S.C.) has weathered criticism from some conservative South Carolinians who argue that he is too willing to compromise on certain key issues. Businessman Richard Cash has already announced a challenge and some tea party activists have long threatened to challenge the senator in a primary.

Nancy MACE is the future FACE of the GOP in this Senate RACE!!
I wouldn’t mind Graham being primaried by a better candidate. Alas, Graham has set the bar so low that “better” could still be a bad candidate.
From Wikipedia:
Nancy Ruth Mace (born December 4, 1977 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina) is the daughter of Brigadier General (United States) Emory Mace (US Army retired), the most decorated Citadel graduate, was the first woman to graduate from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, a full year ahead of her class.
She is the author of In the Company of Men: A Woman at The Citadel, first published by Simon & Schuster in 2001.
Would it not be better if there were one strong primary challenger? I remember what happened when the GOP had crowded fields in the 2008 and 2012 presidential primaries.

Yes, but the presidential primaries in the various states did not have a run-off process. The Republican primary in the South Carolina Senate race will have a run-off election between the top two (most votes) Republicans. This was the political environment in Texas last cycle. Ted Cruz, along with a number of other candidates, ran in the primary against David Dewhurst (the RINO designated by the GOPe to be the Republican nominee). Dewhurst got significantly more votes than Ted Cruz but, because of others also in the race, Dewhurst only got 44% of the primary vote. Since he didn’t get at least 50% in the primary he had to contest a run-off against the 2nd place finisher (Ted Cruz). Ted Cruz won the run-off in a landslide as the conservatives coalesced around him.
Other than Ted Cruz, I don’t remember the others who fought against Dewhurst (with his huge name recognition and financing advantages) in the primary, but their efforts kept him from winning the primary. So God bless their souls. Conservatives need to take the same approach in South Carolina to remove the despicable Lindsey Graham.
Let’s all save our “shots” for Lindsey and not take aim at ANY of his challengers. They all serve the purpose of removing Lindsey. Believe, the candidate who the campaign reveals is the best and truest conservative will be the one who Lindsey faces in the run-off.
