American rock group Bloodhound Gang has been barred from a music festival in Russia, the Russian Culture Minister said, after a band member shoved the country's flag into his underpants during a gig. Moscow reacted angrily, barring the band from performing at a festival in the Krasnodar Black Sea region, also known as Kuban. The event, held on August 1-7, is expected to feature bands including The Prodigy, Guano Apes and Scooter.
"I spoke to the Krasnodar region authorities. Bloodhound Gang is packing their suitcases. These idiots will not perform in Kuban," Russian Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky said on Twitter on Friday.

He’s busy on so many fronts, it’s hard to follow the whole story.

That is certainly a possibility, I worry about it constantly.
But
I'm not sure that the America haters are as numerous, and I'm quite certain the America lovers are more numerous, than most people believe.
I mean, almost every day a "news" organization puts out a piece that refers to the disturbance and massive upset among the population caused by the Zimmerman verdict. That is simply, positively, verifiably false. Most people are quite content with the outcome of the trial.
That's just one small example, one of many.
What's true, however, is that the enemy control of mass media including entertainment, combined with the lack of effective, organized political opposition, MAKES IT LOOK LIKE regular, normal Americans are approving of self-hatred.
If and when a spontaneous political opposition arises (which is likely, IMO) we will get to see who is who in this country - and you may be surprised at the size of our majority.
Thanks. I’m aware of a number of those band names (don’t listen to most of them and have only seen Marky Ramone and Flogging Molly). Just interested to see what flies there.

You proved the old adage about "assume." FTA: On a video, posted on YouTube, bassist Jared Hasselhoff is seen pushing the Russian white-blue-red tricolour into the front of his pants and then pulling it out of the back.
Generally, in the not too distant past, music fans who burn their own countries' flags have taken a dim view of musicians from other countries burning those same flags. Ask Keith Emerson about that some day.
The problem is that those who hate America are being manufactured in schools every year.
Those who love America will be replaced by those who hate.
The Russians should have waited till he got in their country and arrested him.
As you can see I don’t keep up much with Rock bands. I used to keep up with country, but that aint country any more so now I just listen to my old CD’s of George, Johnny, Buck, and Patsy.
PS: With a mild climate, fertile deep black soil, vineyards, sturgeon fishing (caviar production) on the Sea of Azov, and an almost Mediterranean lifestyle it was by far the most pleasant area of Russia I ever saw.

I’m waiting impatiently for true political opposition to rise up (maybe a third party), and waiting impatiently for some wealthy conservatives to buy out a major TV news outlet, one of the big 4, so that we can actually get some truth out there. Buying out two would be better, so in Americans’ minds, they would see half the stations showing one perpective and half the other, so they don’t always get the misquided perception that conservatism is the minority. I really cant understand why some wealthy conservatives haven’t done it yet.
Imagine if both CNN and NBC starting reporting the news from a true conservative angle. You’d have FOX with the wishy washy middle ground, and the other two could stay liberal. People would actually start hearing the truth and start becoming educated, and also wouldn’t just assume they were they only ones who think/reason/feel like they do, and have it backed up by some actual facts in reporting.
Headline needs work.
