The story that I've read is that Till was talking dirty to a grown woman.
It's always been portrayed, in versions I've heard, as just innocent "flirting."
I'm pretty sure "flirting" with sex talk from a barely-pubescent boy to a married woman wouldn't have been taken very well by anyone in 1950's Mississippi, regardless of the races involved.
Oprah wasn’t too bad until she started talking about her cocktails during every show, coinciding with her newfound interest in politics. Her post menopausal woozy brain is no match for the people around her these days.
Oh and she’s got a new movie to promote. It’s always good to say something provocative when you need attention.
What Sharpton and the other race baiters advocated was a lynch mob no different than those of the KKK who prevented fair trials of accused Blacks and simply carried out vigilante justice on the nearest tree. I’m sure back in the bad old days there were plenty of examples of a Black man not being arrested or acquitted in court only to be lynched by the Klan who assumed him to be guilty solely on his race. Zimmerman had a fair trial and the state did not prove its case against him so leave it be.
Oprah winfrey needs to be cancell and off the air.
