A very sobering article from the man who truly knows what this battle is about and what stakes are involved. Many here on FR haven't a clue as to the true nature of the sodomite demon - that it is about total destruction, not just a "social issue."

Scott Lively is in the belly of the beast, preaching truth while the beast rages against him. This piece is not for the faint of heart. Be warned.

“...male on male sodomy is listed as the most heinous sin...”

Middle Eastern Moslem men do this all the time and think nothing of it...I witnessed it or caught them in the act — kinda waked around a corner...and SURPRISE!

Uhm...article is interesting....

Yes, eventually, the Godly will prevail, but in the meantime, we must get ready.

Yeah, as soon as they start killing people, then its time to either flee to Russia or start loading the guns.

This article was release shortly before the supreme court effectively legalized homosexual “marriage” in this country. Please go to the article to find the link for the follow-up after the decision.

I think that he missed the boat, most churches have already surrendered to the feminist movement. It is rare to see any church following the bibles prohibition on women teaching in the churches (1Timothy 2:11-13, 1Corinthians 4:33-35). Because of that most churches go from being led by men to being mis-led by women to having homosexuals in leadership positions. It was a process that began with compromises that seemed harmless but ultimately have proven to be lethal to the body of Christ.

I’ve always thought that homosexuals (both genders) were real sad sacks. There is nothing right about it and they know it. They made their choice and it’s a terribly sad one. No good comes from it...ever.

You know what: this is ok.
Here's why: because even in the Case of Sodom and Gomorrah God saved the righteous — moreover, we members of the church have a very powerful weapon against this: love. I have met a total of one homosexual who it wasn't immediately, intuitively obvious wasn't literally starving for love. (And he could have been good at hiding it.) It's not our place to condemn people, we can let the Holy Spirit do the convicting and the Son the judging, our place is to be a light in the world of darkness, to reflect God's love for even the most sinful of men: a love so great He set aside his kingship and became man, a mere tradesman (as the world would see it), in order to save wretched mankind.

As James says, it's not about which laws are broken, but that they are broken:

James 2:10-13
For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it. For the one who said, “You shall not commit adultery,” also said, “You shall not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery but if you murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. So speak and so act as those who are to be judged by the law of liberty. For judgment will be without mercy to anyone who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.
Here we also see an echo of the Lord's Prayer: Forgive us our trespasses, even as we forgive those that trespass against us. Where it seems that the amount we are willing to forgive directly influences the amount that we are [or can be] forgiven.

In short, let the world be dark so that your light may be all the more brilliant; Jesus said:

You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. 15 No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. -- Mat 5:14-16

It is because Jesus came that there is hope for any of us, and not even the strength of the sin of homosexuality is stronger than my God: Jesus.
That is why it is ok.

I go to the Catholic Church. They do have altar girls but after ALL THESE YEARS there are still no women priests.
The Church has ALWAYS gotten holy heck from other Christian denominations for the failure to allow women priests. I was always very proud of the Church for holding on to that Judaic/Christian tradition of male priests. I do understand that some liberal Jewish traditions DO have women rabbis now. Maybe I'm wrong.

sued in U.S. Federal Court for “Crimes Against Humanity” for preaching against homosexuality in Uganda

huh? What does our Federal court have to do with what an individual says in another country? If they do have jurisdiction, how does free speech not apply?

We are now living in Obamerica. It is NOT anything like the country envisioned by our Founders.

I believe that one of the paths they will successfully use will be through the Boy Scouts of America.

1. Most scout troops are sponsored by churches, and conduct meetings/activities at their facilities.

2. Scouts have traditionally and consistently won all discrimination cases based upon right of association... which the BSA has now legally forfeited.

3. The link between a scout troop and it’s sponsoring church subjects that church to the same legal vulnerability that the BSA has just stepped into (and doesn’t know it)

4. All it will take is for some parent or scout to say or do the wrong thing at the wrong time... and bam!... lawsuit... Troop loses AND the church it’s associated with loses too.

Right of association is NO LONGER A DEFENSE for BSA or churches they are associated with!!!

You are painfully correct with all your points.

Homosexuals constantly build Trojan horses to invade their enemy’s territory. Whether it’s “anti-bullying” campaigns, rights of “their children,” or government benefits, we all need to see that these are just the means to an unrelated end.

You mean most mainline churches have, and even those are not monolithic in allowing this unbiblical travesty. Very very few baptist or other traditional evangelical churches have fallen to this error. Even many Episcopalian churches still resist the feminist heresy. The Episcopal diocese in my own Ft Worth is one that separated because of the degeneracy of what that pit of vipers had become.

The newest mode of attack by the Gaystapo is the “anti-discrimination” angle - by declaring any organization with even tangential involvement with the public as a “public accommodation” - their new Golden Calf. They will expand this definition until it encompasses churches. After all, there is only one Roman Catholic Church (and only one Southern Baptist Denomination, and only one Assemblies of God, etc.) and the moral anarchists will say that since these are an integral part of the culture of a particular area, they must, by law, be included, at the risk of being deprived of the benefits of a culture.

This was especially important as a tactic in the Obamacare mess. Catholic hospitals underpin the country in terms of both point of patient care AND forgiveness of medical debt.

The idea was to force Catholic hospitals to perform abortions and prescribe birth control pills.
