You don’t seem to know much about Ventura. Having lived in MN; listened to his radio program; seen his self-promotion and heard his distortions and truth stretching on many occasions, I can assure you that this is strictly about money and being a big man once a bigger man was gone. Plain and simple, Ventura is a self-serving blowhard without a thought for others ever passing through the chasm between his jug ears.

I do not like the ex-governor at all. And he cannot justify suing Kyle’s estate. However, on this point I want to make it clear. He DID go to BUDS and did graduate. The only issue is that at the time they were referred to as UDT, not SEALs. They became SEALs shortly after he graduated.

I'm sorry, but how in the world to you equate claiming someone committed a felony with the supposed winner of a bar fight? I know where you were trying to go with this, but really, when you're trying to put things in perspective, it might be best to actually put them in perspective rather than choose an example that is grossly different.

In other words, you'd really have to go far to actually demonstrate that there is any loss in the first place. The issue died with the accuser. Jesse Ventura is doing himself more harm than any possible clearing of his name could possibly gain by suing the widow of his accuser.
That's the claim in Kyle's book and after all the controversy that has occured over the past couple years, NOBODY but NOBODY has been found to have witnessed the fight.........

Kyle made a libelous statement against Ventura in his book that Ventura disputes and nobody has been found to have witnessed Kyle's claim. Without witnesses then that is indeed libel and Ventura has every right to clear his name no matter what it takes........

I think we can safely say the comments on this board have nothing to do with what the dead man said. I don’t know what he said but still think Ventura is a first rate a**hole based on what is known about him.
