LOL, not a chance. The JMSDF is on thin ice for ordering these "destroyers" in the first place. An imperial chrysanthemum hanging on the bow would probably precipitate a constitutional crisis and drive some generals and admirals to the inner court to seek an "honorable exit" with a sharp wakizashi.
Not that I wouldn't love to see it. A muscular, non-nerf Japan would be a great ally against China and the reanimated bear.
