Can the landlord refuse to rent to blacks, Hispanisc, Asians, unmarried women, families with children (narrow legal exception for seniors only communities), homosexuals, Muslims, Jews, communists, democrats or even ex-convicts? I think they would have a hard time excluding people for exercising an explicit Constitutional right.
I agree. This attempt is the same assault on the constitution that a restriction against possessing a bible in one’s apartment would be.

If they can force florists, printers and bed & breakfast owners to serve gay weddings then logic would dictate that what you said is true. Logic doesn’t dictate much anymore.
Unfortunately gun owners are not protected persons under the Civil Rights Act. And like the 1st and 4th Amendments, the 2nd Amendment rights are only as against the government, not other private citizens.
