I had never heard of this robbery/murder. The news media, television and print both, are failing down on the job.

I live 15 miles from Washington, Pa .... and I never heard of this
I live in Longview, WA. Our local paper had 8 full-sized pages of job listings when we first moved here 14 years ago. When George W. Bush left office in 2008, there were 2 full sized pages of jobs available. Today they couldn’t fill half of one column, plus they downsized the paper itself.
Is it all due to online news or job sites? No. We have a genuine problem with low employment. But they won’t discuss it in the editorial section and particularly won’t mention the causes.
Our local newspaper will not print ANYTHING critical of the Democrat Party, unions, or anything that is politically incorrect. It doesn’t print the news, period.
Needless to say it doesn't fit the agenda.

This was reported at the time by the Pittsburgh news media and it was pretty clear that it was a black gang on white dude crime, but I don’t remember the details of how it was reported. The impression I got was naive white boy didn’t have strret smarts to protect himself from thugs.
I'm pretty sure Holder has filed federal charges against these three for violating McNerney's civil rights, and Obama is giving a big speech about it to the NAACP tomorrow.
Yeah. The race of the perps was, surprisingly, mentioned but when Whites are assaulted or killed by blacks it’s just crime.
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review had an article on the arrest of the three perps this week and put their three photos on an inside page, with the photo of the white victim placed separately on page 1.
Yeah, only al sharptounge and jesse hijackson are allowed to infer racism.
