Ex-Border Patrol Agents Warn: Politicians Helping Cartels in U.S.
Breitbart News ^ | 7 Aug 2013 | Matthew Boyle

In an open letter to the public in late July, several retired Border Patrol agents wrote on behalf of the National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers to warn that Mexican drug cartels are actively operating inside the United States spending millions every year to try to build their networks here. They argued that American politicians are protecting their activities as well.

“Transnational criminal enterprises have annually invested millions of dollars to create and staff international drug and human smuggling networks inside the United States; thus it is no surprise that they continue to accelerate their efforts to get trusted representatives in place as a means to guarantee continued success,” the Border Patrol agents wrote.

“We must never lose sight of the fact that the United States is the market place for the bulk of transnational criminal businesses engaged in human trafficking and the smuggling, distribution and sale of illegal drugs. Organized crime on this scale we are speaking about cannot exist without political protection.”

...

“Sanctuary cities established throughout the United States discourage even the most basic law enforcement initiatives within their boundaries against these predatory criminals,” they wrote. “Encouraged by Congress and a disinterested mainstream news media, these havens deny the American public their constitutional right to national security and public safety while providing relative safety for dangerous foreign criminals.”

The retired Border Patrol agents called on Congress to abandon efforts to grant amnesty to illegal aliens because passing an amnesty would be akin to abetting the drug cartels.

Since most Americans are against amnesty - democrat and republican - it seemed odd so many pols were pushing it. Now it makes more sense.

I am shocked! Shocked I tell you!

Probably just my flawed memory (since I am over a half century old, but wasn't there something about Bill Clinton and unauthorized airplanes awhile back?

:-)

“but wasn't there something about Bill Clinton and unauthorized airplanes awhile back?”

At a little airport in Arkansas?
Mena, Arkansas?
Cocaine coming in from Columbia?
No, I am sure St. Bill knew nothing about that. It must be your memory

In a pig's eye.

Yup.

This is the great threat.

And the wimps in the U.S. Congress are falling all over themselves to aid and abet the Mexican Mafias.

They aren’t “cartels”; CNN made up that word.

They’re familias, no different from the Italian mafias who they share culture with: but they have the country next door as a safe haven, a place they own.

And with the soft weakness they perceive to the North, they plan to make that their land too.

.....the vote-crazed wimps in the U.S. Congress are falling all over themselves to aid and abet Mexican drug lords.....whose country is a safe haven, a place they own. And with the soft weakness they perceive here, they cunningly plan to make this "their" land, too.

Obama's gung-ho on immigration reform .....insists that there is no drug cartel spillover violence....but the dead bodies on the north side of the border stubbornly belie the President's cynical lie. Viscious Mexican gangs and drug cartels are said to operate freely across the border in Austin---the Texas state capital---right under the noses of the pols. Read on.

EDITED Zeta hit man details killings on both sides of border mySA.com | January 24, 2012 | Jason Buch / FR Posted by SwinneySwitch

LAREDO, TEXAS — A hit man for the Zetas Mexican drug cartel calmly related to jurors in a drug conspiracy trial---to his role as a hired killer.

In US District Court. Rosalio Reta pointed to Gerardo Castillo Chavez, 25, and identified him as a fellow Zeta. Reta, 22, told jurors that he had been in a team of hit men headed by Gabriel Cardona, an admitted Zeta, who has pleaded guilty to five murders that occurred in Texas 2005-06.

Reta said he was the triggerman in the murder of Moises Garcia, a Mexican Mafia prison gang member, in Dec 2005.

Reta, a U.S. citizen, received national media attention after the teenager was deported from Mexico in 2006 at age 17. He's known for his distinctive facial tattoos and boasts that he became a killer when he was 13 years old.

Prosecutors say Castillo Chavez was also a sicario, or hit man, in a crew that worked with Cardona's group, gunning down two people at a busy Laredo, Texas intersection in April 2006.

He faces up to life in prison if convicted on firearms and racketeering charges and wide-ranging drug conspiracy charges; prosecutors presented evidence of a decade's worth of Zeta operations in Texas.

Reta said that he fled to Mexico after two murders in Texas, for which he's now serving 70 years in prison, and worked with Castillo Chavez.” In May 2006, Reta testified, a team of killers was dispatched to El Punto Vivo, a nightclub in a suburb of Monterrey, Mexico.

“Hitmen Chema and Chavezs went into the bar,” Reta said. “They shot, they threw some grenades and they killed four people.”

Afterward, the hit squad went to a convenience store for snacks and drinks. Prosecutors played security video showing Reta and three others making purchases.

Jurors also heard Laredo police detective Robert Garcia testify that he linked the sicarios using phone records.

The big break came when an insider---a DEA informant---was tasked by the Zetas with renting a safe house for Cardona's crew. Garcia said he worked with the feds to thwart the Zetas' attempted hits and to gather evidence.

Defense attorneys questioned Reta as to why someone who had shown great care to hideout after killings in the U.S. would so brazenly hang out at a convenience store, even microwave popcorn, after committing a high-profile killing in Mexico.

“In Mexico, the cartels run everything,” Reta replied. “So it doesn't matter if you get caught on video. We are the law over there."

Rosalio Reta.

American politicians are protecting horrendous activities as described by Border Patrol agents warning Americans against immigration reform: “Transnational criminal enterprises have annually invested millions of dollars to create and staff international drug and human smuggling networks inside the United States; they continue to accelerate their efforts to get trusted US representatives in place as a means to guarantee continued success.”

Proof of this has surfaced via the activities of a US Senator. Read on.

THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC is a Caribbean nation notorious for corrupt governments. US politicians' frequent the DR "amenities" at its posh resorts; rock stars and celebrities relax at luxe villas spending big bucks there.

NOTE Recent travel brochures report that the DR has no safety net or state-sponsored job creation for its largely impoverished citizenry.

THIRD WORLD MONEY LAUNDERING IN AMERICA The one million Dominican citizens currently living illegally in the US send home about a billion US dollars annually---which is considered by the corrupt do-nothing DR govt to be a major source of state revenue. A steady exodus leaves for US shores lured by the endless US gravy train. Money laundering is rampant in the form of Dominican here on food stamps/welfare.etc, laundering EBT cards through corrupt grocers--- where cash is handed out, then sent to the DR.

Sen Menendez (Dem-NJ) no doubt knows that massive financial benefits would derive from amnesty......Third world pressure groups exchanging votes for foreign aid---zillions of us tax dollars going straight into the pockets of corrupt third world federales.

Menendez, his Dominican crony, Dr Meglen, and Dominican Republic govt honchos, apparently are colluding in a secret port cargo deal that will profit them hundreds of millions of dollars.

Menendez crassly used US govt resources, govt authority, and his privileged position, to convene a special hearing---Menendez was the only Senator present but the hearing had the full force of the US govt. Self-serving Menendez dragged US officials up to the Hill for questioning---pressuring US officials about why the Dominican port deal had not gone through.

The NY Times quotes Menendez at the hearing: "You have another company (Melgen's) that has 'American investors' that is seeking to - has a contract actually given to it - kind of ratified by the Dominican Congress----to do X-ray of all of the cargo that goes through the DR ports, which have been problematic and for which in the past narcotics have been included in those cargo," the senator said.

Menendez reinforced his authority by later calling US officials at the Depts of State and Commerce.

============================================

PULL THE PLUG ON AMNESTY NOW---Obama tapped Menendez for a lead role in the push for amnesty--now we discover Menendez has plenty to hide. us legislators pulling for amnesty (despite Americans distaste for it)---should be put on notice---anyone w/ foreign connections had better come clean now.

=========================================

NO AMNESTY UNTIL WE KNOW THE SCOPE AND DIMENSION OF FINANCIAL INVOLVEMENT AMNESTY PUSHERS ON CAPITOL HILL HAVE W/ FOREIGN GOVTS. Number One: The Congressional Hispanic Caucus should be scrutinized WRT its business connections with foreign governments.

==================================================

ADDENDUM Menendez spotlighted rampant male/female child prostitution in the Dominican Republic....by partaking of it. The more cynical among us see the push for amnesty on Capitol Hill as concealing a dark, corrupt hidden agenda. Underage males/females cannot legally consent to sex - therefore it is considered Statuatory Rape in civilized countries. That would change w/ amnesty.
