And the AP flat out altered what the preezy said.

preezy - “If we don’t deepen our ports all along the Gulf — places like Charleston, South Carolina, or Savannah, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida — if we don’t do that, those ships are going to go someplace else.”

The AP quoting the preezy - “If we don’t deepen our ports all along the Gulf — (and in) places like Charleston, S.C., or Savannah, Ga., or Jacksonville, Fla. — if we don’t do that, these ships are going to go someplace else and we’ll lose jobs,” Obama said.

No one managed to ask where would these ships go? Assuming they are bringing cargo into the US, where are they going to land, in Lybia??

Diamond Head (hard substance) was in JAX last week talking of the local port and how he believes it needs be made deeper. Of course, he has not done a whit to make that happne, he just blathers on about things but never mentions the funding. He also does not talk of the environmental issues involved in dropping a channel 4-6 feet in a navagation river.

A complet empty suit.
