It is not just the federal government. The corruption goes down to the local level.
It is all intended to put pressure on the average citizen to fall into line with the leftist agenda.
Locally, we have what they call a storm water advisory board, which is appointed for life, are not local citizens and cannot be removed by elected officials. They advisory board is hidden behind a storm water committee that is quite open, but has no real authority. The advisory board was set up as an “experiment” and funded by BP, in exchange for excluding BP from the fee schedule for the storm water district. BP was then given a seat on the storm water advisory board, which went about advancing BP’s agenda, along with their own.
Now, the real problem arose when they proposed a coal terminal to built in this same storm water district and the Republicans started working with the very same people that that they were opposing in other areas of the county.
